Dramatic Rumblings (Ages 8-10)

Campers will have the opportunity to express their creative sides in an interactive camp that uses theatre games as a foundation.
Basic theatre skills such as blocking, characterization, movement, and line memorization will be explored along with life-skills such as cooperation, teamwork and focus.
Participants will learn and perform a short script for their fellow campers.

Sharra is excited to join Gallery 7 Theatre once again for theatre camp! Sharra has a BFA in Acting from Trinity Western University (2015), and has been involved with G7 in many capacities for most of her life. She has extensive training in voice and movement, character development, and scene analysis. Her favourite acting roles include Beatrice in Much Ado about Nothing and Red Wolf in The One You Feed (SAMC Theatre at TWU); her favourite stage management role was Fiddler on the Roof (SAMC Theatre). She is also thrilled to be a playing Lt Cmdr. Joanne Galloway in Gallery 7 Theatre’s upcoming production of A Few Good Men in May. Sharra looks forward to exploring and discovering the fun of theatre with you!
