Theatre for the heart, soul and mind.

Welcome to our Building Roots season.

    Message from the Artistic Director

Greetings from Gallery 7 Theatre and welcome to our 2025-2026 “Building Roots” Theatre Season! We’re very excited to bring you another exciting, thought-provoking and entertaining playbill, this time, exploring the roots of who we are as individuals, as families, as communities, and as a nation.

Each play explores some aspect of identity in either communal or individual contexts. Throughout, we’ll learn about faith, character, integrity, purpose, honor, relationships and what binds us together as a country. I trust you’ll find the upcoming season full of adventure, comedy, drama, romance, and whimsy.

I’m also excited to say that our 34th season of theatre will feature several exciting developments:

    • Extended Runs: Most of our shows in the coming season will run for three weeks, giving you more opportunities to see our productions.
    • Sunday Matinees: We experimented with including Sunday matinees over the past couple of seasons, and we’ve decided they’re here to stay. All mainstage productions will include at least one Sunday matinee performance.
    • G7 Presents Series: This year, we’re hosting the Arts Club Theatre Company as part of our newly established G7 Presents Series. The G7 Presents Series is designed to put the work of Lower Mainland professional theatres center stage here in Abbotsford. That means more quality live theatre for you!
    • G7 Comedy Events: We’ve split our comedy series apart and spread these events over the season so you don’t miss out on all the fun!

Gallery 7 Theatre is certified Entertainment+. This is a fun way of saying that here at G7, you’ll find a place to escape and enjoy some quality entertainment PLUS you’ll experience stories that stir the heart, challenge the mind and elevate the soul. In other words, you’ll experience entertainment with substance.

Season subscriptions are now available! With a season subscription, you lock in your Entertainment+ experience in one simple transaction and at a significant savings over individual tickets. Need to change your initial date selections? No worries – give us a call and we’ll change the date for you with no fuss and no fees.

Want to make sure G7 maintains its Entertainment+ rating? Add a tax-deductible donation to your subscription or ticket purchase. All dollars raised help to ensure we continue delivering plays that explore the social, spiritual and relational aspects of the human experience with a vision towards hope, reconciliation and redemption.

Thank you so much for your ongoing patronage - see you at the theatre!
